DormLoop is a campus marketplace that helps college students buy, sell, and trade dorm essentials with people at their own school — no randos, no shipping, and no marketplace fees. Everything stays on your campus feed, so meetups are local, fast, and familiar.
Lucas and Xander have been best friends since high school in Orlando. When they got to college, they kept seeing the same pattern every year: during move-in and move-out season, students were scrambling to find mini-fridges, desks, lamps, and everything in between — often posting in random group chats or generic apps where you never know who you're dealing with.
They wanted something better: a marketplace that felt like it actually belonged on campus. Not a national platform full of strangers — a safer, more centralized place where verified students could list items in seconds, message each other, and meet up in person. That idea became DormLoop.
Generic marketplace apps weren't built for dorm life. DormLoop is:
We're still growing, but the goal is simple: make every campus feel like one connected community when it matters most.
